Your Candidate Needs Your Signature!

Election 2025 is underway!


We are officially in campaign mode and have been active since Sunday afternoon.


One of the mission-critical forms is the candidate's Nomination Form. This form satisfies Elections Canada that the district has signified their nomination of the submitter to represent them as their candidate. Approved candidates have their names added to the ballot. The form requires 100 valid (clearly legible) signatures from district residents.


To account for invalid signatures identified by Elections Canada, candidates will collect 150 signatures.


The deadline for submission is 21 days before the election date. Candidates who do not meet the criteria are declined, and their names are not added to the ballot for that electoral district. This year, that date is April 7. The sooner the form is submitted, the sooner we can get your candidate's name on the ballot.


While many of the required signatures have been collected, your candidates are putting out a general request for your signature on their nomination forms.

Here's how you can help your candidate!

  1. Please email your candidate with the phrase "My Signature" in the subject line.

  2. Copy and paste the following message: "Hello, I would like to connect with you to sign your Candidate Nomination Form."

  3. Provide your name, phone number, email address, and residential address, and your candidate will contact you to arrange a meeting to get your signature on the form.
