Jeff Galbraith, PPC candidate for Mission-Matsqui-Abbotsford
January 24, 2024
Hello and good day to the great citizens of the Highways 7 and 11 corridor, up the Morris Valley Road to Duffy Lake Road.
The Emergency Act which allowed the use of overt physical, mental and emotional abuse and force by police officers to the extent of not only using boots, knees, fists, strong arm tactics, swarming and gun butts, yet also using a horse brigade to trample peacefully protesting Canadian citizens during the Freedom Convoy gathering on Parliament Hill and the surrounding areas of Ottawa in the winter of 2022 has been rightfully ruled as "unreasonable and ultra vires" (ultra vires? beyond one's power, specifically the legal or constitutional power of a person, court or corporation. The Century Dictionary) by Supreme Court Justice, the Honourable R. Mosley.
"That the Regulations used by the Liberals infringed Section 2b (the freedom of thought, belief, opinion, and expression including freedom of the press and other media of communication), that the Order used by the Liberals infringed Section 8(Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure) of the Charter and neither infringement was justified under Section 1"-The CCRF guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society. He also made the statement, "I have concluded that the decision to issue the proclamation does not bear the hallmarks of reasonableness- justification, transparency and intelligibility- and was not justified in relation to the relevant factual and legal constraints that were required to be taken into consideration."
My sincere personal appreciation to the Honourable Justice R. Mosley
for your dedication to truth and rightful administration for a just society.
"Does not bear the hallmarks of reasonableness- justification, transparency and intelligibility" Hmmmm, well this definitely sounds like the Liberal Party in its entirety over the last 8 years, in my opinion.
So now what? Well according to the DPM and Minister of Finance, C. Freeland, the Liberal government will appeal the decision. Which as we know is just more continued abuse against the hardworking, law-abiding and highly taxed citizens of Canada. This seems to be just part of a recurring theme with our current highly and politically supported ruling party. Seems the ruling party can say and do anything they so desire at the expense of We the People, as they have so readily shown ad nauseam.
Question, does anyone recall any of the opposition party leaders in the People's House, prior to the implementation of the Act, taking a hard-line stand against the EA? So, what does this say about them and their responsibility to us, their constituents? When the silent majority who haven't voted, along with all our current and growing support base and members, have the opportunity to make our true feelings known. The PPC will make a splash in the next federal election, not just a pebble ripple effect, but a tidal wave type. Either forming a government or holding the balance of power.
The PPC is all about, Fairness, Respect, Freedom and Responsibility, which enables real Common Sense (we know where the the CPC stole that from) to return Canada to her former glory of being True, North, Strong and Free. Also, to one of the wealthiest nations in the world.
Thank you all for your time, consideration and support to our party, The People's Party of Canada. May we enjoy the fruits of our hope, faith, and love for the future of our nation and its people.
I welcome any and all opportunities to meet with you and like-minded constituents. I am available Mondays-Thursdays all day.
